Due to travelling often, I currently found myself in Poland (native land of GOG).

And woe... prices on Zlotas!
Now I'm trying to buy some expensive game now, rigorously on sale, as they seems consistently cheaper than UK prices.

On the opposite side I feel really cheated when I have to buy games when located in UK.

Steam is much more coherent and provides fixed prices.

Shouldn't all the EU countries be able to buy at those rates because of the whole freedom of goods and services

Yep. I always get charged in local currency when abroad even for a few days, and then charged by bank for foriegn transaction. Complained about this once before.
Local prices, in Poland at least, can be from a few cents less to a considerable amount of £.

If I decide to use my back exchange, and not Paypal, I got even a few £ less than theft Paypal exchange rate.

This all contribute to generate a bad feeling. Disrupt my karma and oblige me to have a Vodka.
