redatari: it's PHP 1239.95 on steam. I used food so its easy to relate with.
SirPrimalform: I know, and I was saying that based on the food thing it sound similarly priced to here. So what I was wondering was why you expect games to be cheaper?
not sure comparing countries' economic situation by cheeseburger is that useful :p
if you look at some data like [1], you'll find Philippines(~7k) far below the First World countries in a similar range as Ukraine(~8k), Uzbekistan(~6k), El Salvador(~9k), Paraguy(~9k) - all of which do receive a regional discount.
So I think the request is not that unreasonable.
Of course, as noted above, there are a bunch of countries in Eastern Europe who need to pay a higher price despite the bad economic situation. It seems the idea of some sort of fairness isn't really the main idea behind regional prices :/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)_per_capita of course that statistics isn't quite "the answer" either, since it doesn't measure personal/household income, but it usually gives a rough measure of how "good" the economic situation is in comparison to others.
//edit:
not sure why that stupid link doesn't work
redatari: I'm not begging. I'm just asking for the price tags to be reconsidered to match the regions. GOG is already doing it for SA.
McGuuffin: Haven't noticed, where did you see this?
according to Magog there is one game that has a discount in South Africa:
Armikrog funnily, that's also the only game on GOG that actually has discounts for SEA
edit1:
meh, who needs links anyway ... *sigh*
edit2:
for a overview about the GOG price regions, look here:
