I want all the games I brought yesterday refunded.

I only really got as far as playing one of them & it was only for barely 10 minutes before i gave up trying progress any further in a house corridor in COC Dark Corners of the Earth. I'm not sure how to get any further. I had a similar issue with the exact same game that I also own on Steam. Reason why I brought it here, again. I also read baouit the slight remastering done to it. I know I did get further in the Steam version, before reaching adead end. Right nnow, In short corridor with three doors, and no way of opening them.

This however is not the reason, I want a refund. Because I need a refund for all the games I brought yesterday. It's more of a money problem. I'm really sure, I'll find way to complete the COC game another time. I do promise to buy them all back next fortnight.

I brought ALONE IN THE DARK Bundle. While the latest game had some major graphics probelm from the screen withthe title of the game & game itself only showing a white screen, and the leading charcter without any textures or colour. Incidently, Own the very same latest verion of thsi game, same onw I had problems with for Playstion One, i think or PS 2 most proabably. I brought consoles within the same month back in 2001. Now thst verion of the game has definit graphic problme as well. The disk might have got exposed to too mcuh sunlight or too close to magnet. It was working, but the colours were right off & some other stuff wasn't exactly working. Not a problme for here, jsut thought it was worth mentioning.

The GABRIEL KNIGHT Bundle. These look real sweet btw, I tried the first game, only five minutes, mind you. Look forward to playing thewe at a later date.

The WAR-WIND Bundle. Supposedly, the game inspired Warcraft, but I do know that some game based on Dune was the all father of this type of RTS. There were some problems, I'm sure I would find solution to when I treid the first one, but I'll have to figure that out at a later time.

So, is a refund possible?

You will have to contact support and explain to them as best as possible.
but like with most things in life, no guarantees
I'm confused.

The games have problems, but not game breaking problems, and the reason you want a refund is because you couldn't afford them?

Is that right?

You already downloaded and played the games. So as long as you don't have any technical problems, they probably won't give you a refund.
like I said, your best bet is to talk to support and hope they agree to it.
if you couldn't afford the games when you purchased them, why did you?

but thats a discussion for another time, contact support and hope for the best. thats all I can really suggest atm.

I obviously was able to afford them at the time, but I did shopping later that day (Yesterday) & numbers were crunched in ways I didn't expect. I also recurring problem with my bank account that just won't be fixed. I can't go intothis witrhout dragging this topic way off topic. I just didn't expect some mcuh money to go so fast .
From your post it seems you DLed and installed the games, which means likely no refund if there are no unsolvable technical issues preventing you from playing them. But contact Support to see what they say.

*edit* Ninjaed.

Hi,

I just bought a 10,000 euro car from your showroom yesterday but I would like to return it, the car has no problems at all it's more of a money problem.

-------------------------

That aside, I don't mean to sound like a jerk or immature, but you should have thought about the money problem a bit earlier and GOG shouldn't pay for your carelessness.

I only really got as far as playing one of them & it was only for barely 10 minutes before i gave up trying progress any further in a house corridor in COC Dark Corners of the Earth. I'm not sure how to get any further.
Sorry but, what a lame excuse this is. It's quite normal to get stuck at some point in a game, but that doesn't beg for a refund. If I asked for a refund every time I got stuck in a game I'd have half of my library. While Google is not really your friend, it's a very good place to search for guidance.
Well since you seem to have downloaded and installed all the games you can't get a no-questions-asked refund. You might be able to get a refund for ones with unfixable game breaking issues but other than that you're out of luck.
I am honestly wondering why you bought a big pile of games if you're that close to the breadline though.
lol, why should Gog give you a refund for games which work and which you have already downloaded (and whose installation files you might just keep)? Doesn't strike me as a viable business model.
Yes, sir. I'll get right on that.
Okay, apart from what the others have told you re: refunds...we're talking about what here? 45 dollars? Maybe 50? If that little money makes or breaks your account balance and actually causes you to ask for a refund, the last thing you should be doing is buying games.

And no, currently having just enough money in your bank account to buy a couple of cheap games is not the same as being able to afford them. You can BUY them, you can PAY for them, but you sure as hell can't AFFORD them. You can afford them when 50 bucks more or less in your account have zero impact on your ability to pay your bills even in the case of some unforeseen event.

You need to get your money spending priorities straight. Seriously.

And if you absolutely have to indulge a little occasionally, buy one game. Not nine.

I already wrote here, they were all installed, and I had a quick look at a few of them. I like watched the first cinematic from Gabriel Knight & COC - DCOTE. Of the latter, I didn't get far. Aisde from that any play time at all.

Even so, I think your right. I won't be getting a refund, unless COG are really stupid or nice or both. If they were more like Steam and could stop you from playing their games without launching their special application. Then maybe a refund would be definite thing.
