Hello, yesterday evening something really unpleasant happened to me and I would like to know if you can help me in any way:

I was playing Might and Magic VII, when I closed the game to go to sleep GOG asked me something in English about my games, I think if I wanted to synchronize them with the cloud, and I think I gave the wrong option because I lost all my games, they were overwritten by others that I had in the cloud.

I have searched for a solution, how to recover my games but I have not found a solution, does anyone know if somehow I can recover my saved games?

I've been thinking about a restore point on my PC but I didn't have any recent restore point .....

I'm really discouraged, do you have any idea what I can do to recover my game saves?

Hello,

You can try a file recovery utility like Recuva.

Last I checked, System Restore only backs up certain file types, so it probably wouldn't have your saves anyway.

You can download your cloud saves from the Extras category in GOG Galaxy and check if there's something in the downloaded archive. If nothing even downloads and you get an error, then there are no saves on the server.

If you need a previous version of the cloud saves, you can try opening a new support ticket. I don't know if multiple versions are stored server-side, and either way, you'll probably have to wait weeks to get a response.
