Ronish: I need gift ideas on this and it is difficult to discern games that fit. Sure there are great point-and-click games, but quickly moving from mouse to keyboard for QTE could knock a game off the list of potentials. Games that require a high level of keyboard finesse would also be problematic.
Focus on story-driven games of all kinds. No need to mention the more common/popular strategy games ( I know of them).
No jokes please.
Thanks!
Perhaps older RPGs or newer RPGs that feature turn-based combat. Focus on story-driven games of all kinds. No need to mention the more common/popular strategy games ( I know of them).
No jokes please.
Thanks!

Mini Metro. You will be amazed at how much time in 5-15 minute chunks that game can eat up.
Day of the Tentacle. Actually, if you like point and click and story games any of the old Lucas Arts games like Sam and Max, Full Throttle, Monkey Island, Grim Fandango are games you most likely will enjoy, at the very least, they are worth taking a look at.
I know you said not the most common strategy games, but Roller Coaster Tycoon Series and Sim City are both pretty great, just in case you forgot or didn't know :)
