I can second Kikoskia. A little silly at times, but often a depth follower.

GameRager: OP wanted someone who let's plays while being mature, NOT someone who is mature in their other work/in general. The person I mentioned stays very civil while playing(his live let's plays) and seems very knowledgeable on the games as well.

To say that because rageaholic is immature in his other videos(which I warned Op not to watch) that he must also be immature in his let's plays/doesn't match OP's criteria for let's plays is a poor connection to make.
We're also assuming OP wanted people who do this either consistently or thoroughly. The OP mentioned depth being another requirement. Rageaholic has done a handful (roughly half a dozen) 1-hour Let's Plays on disparate RPG games (another of the OP's requirements). That hardly constitutes depth. He never finishes any of the games, much less concentrates on any of them enough to offer any depth on them. Basically, he's a dilettante, flitting from game to game, just to keep an audience, VERY far from deep. Whatever your personal bias towards Rageaholic is here, he's not what the OP is asking for.
When I want to watch an LP I always look for ones with no commentary. I've never understood the popularity of videos of watching someone screech and make funny faces while playing a video game.

The entire point of this thread is to find some who do not do that. :p
(I don't get that either. I watch some LPers for fun and informative commentary on games I like or games I know I won't ever play but am curious about.)

You may be right....I was mainly just offering it as a suggestions as he seemed to be into the games he played when he played them...although YES he isn't primarily a let's player per se.

In the end I only offered it to add to the thread and suggest a possibility, not to cause a stir with anyone.

(Also a word to all: If you dislike my suggestion, people, downvote the first post and move on....don't downvote every single post iust because you may dislike my choice. If I saw a suggestion I didn't like or made by someone I didn't like I wouldn't downrate it. *end rant*)

Some people talk about the history of the game/series/genre while playing or give out other interesting info as they play. Sometimes it gives one ideas for future plays of their own or info on things to look up online.

Honestly, I wish that:
* It were easy to filter videos based on the presence (or lack thereof) of audio commentary.
* People would make commentary-free videos rather than ones with commentary if there aren't already any videos showing that particular aspect of the game.

(I would also like to see more videos showing things like interesting mechanics (and consequences of them), as well as interesting strategies, for video games.)
Survival Horror Network ( SHN )

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4jOVIDDfiSo_8Ywrdqb95w/videos

No commentary other than in text if he has a moment during streams to say something in the live chat but you won't be seeing that usually if you catch the videos after they are streamed. Some games are only tried for a while and others are full play throughs.
Unfortunately it's easier to find immature let's players ( since Google rank them by the profit from advertisement ) on youtube than mature ones .
Can't stand the " i can yell louder than you " , or the " look i'm using a face cam " ones .
I've watched a few vids of Gopher so far. I like, but also realized I watched him 5 years ago. I watched Cauchemar and... I don't know... somehow his accent annoys me. I don't normally care about people's accents, but for some reason his wears on me. Unfortunate. Still looking at the suggestions everyone's made, thank you.

I think they do, they're just not called LPs.
So...

I know of only 2 YouTubers whom I can currently think of which matches your Criteria.

I also only strictly watch people who invest, I'd more say - Immerse themselves when Playing a game. I can't for the life of me stand Gold-Fish like memory LP'ers or Gamers in general, people who don't really Invest and care about stories in Games.

I have a Suspicion you may only like one of these YouTubers I may Present - because one is a Fursona, but they completely match your Criteria however I simply think because they are a Fursona that's the sole reason they would put you off. But I digress, you can judge for yourself.

First YouTuber - Not the Fursona.

Yeti -- The Original RimWorld Let's-Player who I've been watching since 2013.
They've recently started playing RPG's like Metro: Exodus and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat.

They also have a Series on Resident Evil: 2 - Remastered.

Second YouTuber - The Fursona.

Voltorn Elda -- They are Voltorn ( The Let's-Player ) and Elda. ( The Wolf Character who commentates only at the end of the Videos. ) Every game they play is done BLIND.

Voltorn Completely Immerses themself in the Game they play, Inspects and Looks around carefully and to the best of their Ability when playing a Game and also does not try to be funny or Innapropriate at random times. Usually Reads all the Lore and Story of each Game they play - and they are just Chill.

They do not scream or yell, takes every Game's story seriously. Currently they are Playing through Dark Souls II, Subnautica - the First One. and Nova Drift.

In 2019 so far, they've played through HELLBLADE: Senua's Sacrifice and BIOSHOCK 2: Minerva's Den.

In the past, they've played through Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition, Dishonoured. and the DLC's.
My Favourite Series was of My Favourite Game called Valley.

They've also played through many more - All BLIND Playthroughs.

Nice suggestions...if I have time i'll check them out myself. :)
Another YouTuber - Although Retired: Eckyman

They haven't Uploaded in 2-Years ( They got a Kid - and therefor retired to Live-Streaming every few Months ) however the Content was also Good. They're a YouTuber from the U.K.

Eckyman Played mostly Sandbox Games -- like Project Zomboid. They have upto 9 Seasons.

They also played Monster Hunter: Ultimate - 3, Legend of Dungeon, State of Decay, Horror Survival RPG: Darkwood and Darkest Dungeon to scratch us Mortals' itch do see a glimpse of the Cosmic Horrors beyond Space & Time >.>

...& of course a lot more.

Welp. I'll post again if I find any more out of my 701 Subscribed Channels :-P

I don't really go for LPs overall, I prefer to play games myself. But LateBltis good for a relaxing nostalgia trip to the 90s.
