Let’s take a look at some of the examples:

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Digital Deluxe Edition (-85%)
2016’s entry in an iconic series of sci-fi, role-playing titles. In Mankind Divided, the year is 2029, and mechanically augmented humans have now been deemed outcasts, living a life of complete and total segregation from the rest of society. Now an experienced covert operative, Adam Jensen is forced to operate in a world that has grown to despise his kind. Armed with a new arsenal of state-of-the-art weapons and augmentations, he must choose the right approach, along with who to trust, in order to unravel a vast worldwide conspiracy.

Turbo Overkill (-30%)
Heavily inspired by some of the all-time greats like Id's Doom & Quake, and Apogee's Duke Nukem 3D, with stunning cyberpunk visuals, Turbo Overkill is the most savage FPS ever released by Apogee. You play as Johnny Turbo, augmented with hidden arm rockets and a chainsaw that extends from your lower leg allowing you to slide-slice enemies wide open.

Ion Fury: Aftershock (-10%)
The electrifying continuation of Ion Fury’s boomer shooter odyssey. With Neo DC teetering on the brink of annihilation and a vengeful Dr. Heskel on the prowl, Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison's personal vendetta is about to boil over. Lace up your boots and once again become Neo DC's last hope against Dr. Heskel's nightmarish vision. The fate of the city rests in your hands. Are you ready to face the Fury?

Dying Light: Definitive Edition (-80%)
The complete experience of the acclaimed open world zombie survival game. Containing four mainline DLCs and twenty-two bundles, it accumulates the entire 7-years worth of lifespan that packs all of its content into one single unit. Explore all the post-apocalyptic world has to offer. Drive across Harran as you spread carnage in your buggy, face and survive Bozak’s trials, explore new quarantine zones, and enjoy plenty of new skins and weapons!

Mad Max (-80%)
Become Mad Max, the lone warrior in a savage post-apocalyptic world where cars are the key to survival. In this action-packed, open world, third person action game, you must fight to stay alive in The Wasteland, using brutal on-ground and vehicular against vicious gangs of bandits.

Quake II (-60%)
As classic as it gets. Developed by id Software in 1997, Quake II is a critically acclaimed first-person shooter that introduces an entirely new science fiction narrative and setting. Now, you can experience the authentic, enhanced and complete version of the original.

a long " weekend " =)
high rated
I'd buy Serious Sam 2 and 3, Dead Island 1 & RipTide, Chop Goblins, Toy Story 2 Action Game, Area 51 (2005 fps), etc. if they showed up. :)

Depending on the reviews, I might buy the Tomb Raider 1-3 Remasters to show support for them.

It took years for Croteam to generously provide us with the unrestricted .exe for Serious Sam 4. So at this pace, we might get full games in a couple decades maybe.

Yes, me too ... But hope dies last. Maybe we will see these mentioned games in 2034 (next 10 years or so).

As the Linux version of Hands of Necromancy still is not available on GOG, is the game playable with any of the open-source doom engines on Linux?

Very true. And the fact that they updated Serious Sam 2 with Steam exclusive features makes it even less likely to drop here. Most developers can't be bothered with removing the Steam junk for a GOG release and simply ignore any other store. If it is more than 1 second of work that doesn't generate money, they probably won't do it... But i would definitely buy a couple of copies for me and the homies. The coop in SS2 is insanely fun with all the wacky items (Clawdovic.. ehhmm i mean Parrot-Bomb anyone :D). Cheers
