Hey there,

So i'd like to gift a gog code perfectly anonymously. To that effect i've sent the gift purchase over to my own email, so i could just give the code to the person.

However, i soon realized that under "your account>orders and settings" there is a full list of every purchase made which lists the email address a gift has been sent to (in this case my own). I have no way of telling what the recipient sees here considering i've never been gifted a game on gog.

So the question is, can the recipient of my gift code, upon redemption, see my email address anywhere in any way?

The person who claims the gift code can see the order number, which incorrectly has a "View Receipt" link attached to it. Trying to open it pops up a login screen, since only the buyer actually has access to the receipt.
