The question this time: Where would you travel if you had the time/money/etc to do so? Or where do you plan on travelling to sometime in your lifetime that you haven't before?

Also why do you want to go there? Fun sights? Good food? The culture?

Rules:

The contest will run from now until midnight tonight(between 1/20 and 1/21, 2020) Eastern Time.

An entrant MUST reply to the thread topic(in Post 1) and answer the questions....either seriously or silly, it makes no difference. :)

1 game win limit per user, awarded based on random number generator or to the sole asker(if there is only one asker for that game).

All users get put in the 3 dollar(US) sale credit drawing by default...this is a sort of freebie.

User must be Registered BEFORE this month(So Dec 2019 or earlier), THOUGH I might make exceptions for those registered in this month IF they have games bought on their account or seem to not be bots/spammers/scammers.

Anyone who has won in both or one of my prior big giveaways(especially if both), the Black Friday contest and the more recent one, will get lesser priority/odds of winning to prioritize newcomers who haven't won yet...though they can also enter.

I don't want any games, but I will share my ideal travel plan.

I would do around the world journey, but I would start from the East. So, that would be Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belarus, Russia, Mongolia, China, South Korea, Japan, Canada, USA, and back home. I would visit South America and other places, on my second journey.

I would like to visit the places where people don't normally go to or smaller places. I mean everyone that I know has been to Paris, Barcelona, etc. and while that's fine, people from those countries tell me that, major cities are not the best representation of the country. Like you want to experience France, go anywhere else, but Paris.

This being said, I would go to the places that aren't that much talked about. As for Russia and the USA, I would just get a car and drive from one end to another. Of course, I would travel with someone, as doing it by yourself, while tempting it feels to me that I would get bored and tired quickly.

I’m actually playing Anachronox at this very moment! I’d like to be in, for Omikron. But is it real that this game requires 1GB of VRAM? If so, then I’ll have to give up.
I’m not that into traveling compared with my friends, but if I’d do, I’d like to maybe go to Norway, since my cousins live there. Or maybe Israel, since it’s a place that I heard so much about but never have been.
Have I done it right?

(Also the check specs optional rule is only for OS...to make sure no one ends up not being able to play what they win) Yup and sounds cool(yer choices...especially Norway afaik, which is literally quite cool :D). :)
=========================================== Sounds ambitious and fun. :) Also sounds good, but the major cities are also good in some cases(architecture/etc) if one visits the less touristy areas(Not landmarks, I mean tourist traps/etc). Yeah plus it's better to drive with a sub driver in case one needs to sleep or is drunk/etc.

As for Russia, I think it's best to use trains(or so I hear) and use cars/etc for travelling to/from train stations at each stop one makes, due to the layout of stuff(along with some EU countries as well, I hear).

Not in but am planning on going away the end of this year. I have narrowed it down to three places - Thailand, Las Vegas and Aruba.

Thailand to explore a beautiful country with a couple of nights of partying in Pattaya or Phuket.

Las Vegas because it is somewhere I have always fancied going even though the only gambling I do is the lottery each week. Would book into a nice hotel and enjoy the bars and restaurants on the strip.

Aruba for a more relaxing holiday. Beautiful beaches and a few cocktails at night appeals to me.

Hmm, it’s hard to decide. There’s indeed quite a lot good strategy games on sale this week. But dose “random” means that one may receive something they don’t want? Or the winner gets to choose? If the latter, then I’m in for this slot (if I didn’t misunderstand anything).

I'm not much of a traveler but maybe I would like to travel Mexico to know the culture and traditions of that country better. And also enjoy the opportunity to rest and relax on one of the beaches that seem to be very pleasant.

Not in, but +1. I've always had this notion about going to Majorca & Minorca. There are other places I'd go if I had slightly less money, but if I had all the money in the world, I'd start there. I'm going to one of those this (again) year.
