Can somebody tell me how to delete a particular account please?! I need to delete my current account which is this because I registered here using the wrong email address?! Please tell me how to ASAP!!!!

Dude, you can change the email address in your account settings.

Edit: If you accidentally used an email address you don't have any access to you may want to contact support and see if they can help you migrate your account to another one. Although I'm not sure you actually need access to your email account to switch to a different one, never tried it myself.

One reason to delete your account, is having two accounts due to accidentally making a new one and discovering you had one from years before, and want to merge it first before deleting the redundant one....

Of course if it demanded unique email addresses you'd have to register with a second email (not hard, i have 3 personally, although 1 i can't access because hotmail sucks anymore...)

No matter how you look at it, contact support and go from there.

Thanks for info guys, But I'm such a fool! I forgot to check the account setting which you could change a specific email address of your choosing. Now I've create a new account with the email that I'm supposed to use. My new account name is OpulentGloom... Too bad I can't use this account and its pretty nice name :(

Contact support. I see two ways:
a) Ask support to delete your new account and change the old one's email address
b) Ask support to delete your old account and ask them to rename your new account so it has the old name that you seem to prefer

I'm sure they'll help you out.
Yeah, he always wanted me to call him that as well. I never quite understood why he'd prefer "Spooky" over "Spy". I know, "Spy" is not the most personal way to address him but for frigg's sake, it's less offensive than "Spooky", right?

My guess is that some folks are buying or playing addicts and they want no access to the account anymore.

But I think most of them it's someone's ex-significant other pretending to be them and then closing all of their gaming accounts to get back at them.

Sure, there's "Contact Us" at the bottom of the page which leads you to a contact form. Obviously you will want to choose "Problems with website and user accounts" and then select either "username (nickname) change" or "acount cancellation". I'm sure you can ask for deleting an account and renaming another one in the same message.
