The ones they insist you need to take whether you want it or not... I recall forced updates with Vista to try and keep DRM and prevent DVD ripping. As for if you can convince and force off automatic updates, delay them, or think you turned them off (because like Google+, they'll happily inform you you need it and turn it back on for you because they know you really wanted them on...) but didn't...
I do acknowledge i could be wrong, i'm heavily biased against Microsoft because of their shady practices in the last decade and annoying software, so maybe Windows 10 will be fine... But let's wait for the first year or two in and see how things actually turn out., and not base things on the calm before the storm...

Ah, you mean the ones I've been posting how to disable ever since Windows 10 came out, with tools available for a few years (yes, before Windows 10). I did post in this thread both required tools to disable automatic updates (O&O ShutUp10) and selectively install them (Portable Update). So those forced automatic updates, that you can easily disable.

But it probably would be so easy to slide in unwanted updates with requires security updates that everyone needs so they aren't vulnerable... Or with bills and agreements, giving you what you think is a lot of good stuff, and some nasty stuff hidden in among them so you don't really notice what you're accepting...
But as i said, let's see how things turn out a few years from now. Regardless i don't trust MS anymore, so since i can't be un-biased *shrugs*. I'd love to be totally wrong... But we'll have to see.

don't pirated softwares come from the store though? unless the dev don't release it on the store? I'm not familiar with Windows eco (though I'm using one) but some apple pirated software come from the apple store.

Same for Apple. Apple has a store, but you can get software of OSX outside the store, for example in this very site.
Can get into more details if you'd like, don't hesitate to ask.

Yes. Windows Store was introduced with Windows 8, and it does have very strict requirements for getting software there (strict based on the usual software requirements). Any software sold outside the store should not be impacted by those checks.
