Yes.
Dam :(
Oh, right. I guess 9.99 USD converts out that way.

Yes, but be careful here.
Steam version of Quake doesn't include “Quake Mission Pack No. 1: Scourge of Armagon” and “Quake Mission Pack No. 2: Dissolution of Eternity”. That's R$ 7,99 each.
So that's equal R$ 33,57 (17,59 + 7,99 + 7,99).

Is GOG version still more expensive? Yes.

...Ant it gets worse if you buy the complete collection (Quake 1, 2 and 3) on Steam for R$ 56,99. Here on GOG it will cost you R$ 135,07 !

EDIT: just forgot to say: Steam version doesn't include the original soundtrack. GOG version does include, but you need to mount the .cue file before playing, search the game fórum to see how to do it.

Yes it is, but change your chat settings to public gssj85 and I'll trade you Quake at a cheap price since I'm a nice person.
Be thankful for at least having the choice to pay R$, my Brazilian friends. You have no idea how much it pains me to see the prices in ARS at Steam vs USD here.

I still buy 90-95% of my stuff here, but full price is a big NOPE

Do you at least get a regional discount for being in South America? Here in Southeast Asia, not only do we have to pay in USD, but we get charged full price. Most games are about twice as much here as on Steam.

Don't know of a discount from GOG in Argentina, but Steam prices are ridiculously low compared to the US / Europe

An example of a game currently in my wishlists at both: Pillars of Eternity 2, Obsidian Edition. Here 75 USD, on Steam (converted at today's rate) 21.32 USD

Of course not, we have to pay them to remove the DRM from every copy they sell. That work is neither easy nor quick, you know. It's sad, but that's the price we pay in order to make sure those allergic to DRM get the chance to enjoy the games. It might not matter much to those who simply ask for a DRM-free copy despite being able to handle it, but can be fatal to those who are allergic to DRM, so GOG don't take chances but treat everyone the same.

Wait, are we talking about games or food? Is DRM a spice?
