Just found out about this by chance so I thought I'd share with fellow PS gamers here.

Apparently, the sale lasts for another 2 days and features lots of nice deals on games from Japanese studios.

Some examples (in my region):

Castlevania Requiem (includes Rondo of Blood & Symphony of the Night) - 4.99 euros
Castlevania Anniversary Collection - 4.99 euros
Strider - 2.99 euros

Cheers

I keep forgetting these stores have different regional links :)

By the way, if anyone spots any metroidvanias in the sale please share it here since I love this type of games but I am mostly familiar with PC franchises that fall into this category. For example, I remember Strider from way back but didn't know it was recently remade into a metroidvania.
Any suggestions or recommendations on PS4 exclusives?

Is Symphony of the Night not enough for you? :-)

That game pretty much invented the Metroidvania genre and is still one of the best of its kind. This game is the reason why my PS1 is still connected to the TV.

Of course, I never had the chance to play it and I am glad I got it for a nice price :)

I think Super Metroid was more up my alley. Symphony of the Night seems a bit grind-y (and maybe harder in general), although I'm still at the beginning so I do not have a clear picture yet. Any advice is welcome, too! (e.g. I found a room with a strange floating red n-hedron and had no hint that I had to press "up" in front of it to save - RTFM anyone?)

As for other game recommendations, metroidvanias are never enough!

The Kingdom Hearts series is great, like playing Final Fantasy in a Disney context.
Alhtough I don't know if these are considered exclusives anymore, I think they were also released for the Xbox recently.

I'll look into them, I've heard that they are incredibly convoluted! And I meant PS4 games not on the PC. I don't have an Xbox.
