I remember downloading the subject of this post - MicroProse's F-14 Fleet Defender - on abandonware sites several years ago. It was hard to get myself started with the title as the resolution is so low. However, it doesn't take away from the fact that Fleet Defender is hands down one of the coolest sims I've ever seen demonstrated. The sim is sold on Steam... can we get it on GoG? Specifically, can we get the Gold edition?
Best way to get on GOG is via the Community Wishlist:

or contact Retroism (the current publisher)

I think the best way would be via Twitter:

It can be perfectly possible because the title plus others of the same era are been sold in Steam since a time.

It is usually sold under a bundle "Microprose" were F-117 is offered as well, and the latter title is already been sold in GOG. So I do not see any inconvenience in the offering of the title except that GOG in the past refused it.
This game is on steam, which is (sadly) now a go-to place for some classic games. This, F-19 Stealth Fighter, M1A1 Abrams, and 1942: The Pacific Air War are sold there. Also, Armored Fist and Silent Hunter III from non-Microprose titles. I would love to be able to purchase them here, as well as many other classic simulators from DOS era.
Kane,

Thanks for the head's up on the Community Wishlist pages. I don't hang around here all that much, so my thread stinks a bit of noobery (which is why it was here in the first place). Well, hopefully it managed to get someone else in the topic as well.
