zeogold: Type: Bug / Issue

I just noticed a massive oversight. If somebody has their friendslist hidden, you can still see some of their friends so long as their main profile is visible. They're listed in the "friends" area under the "recently played" bit.
You saw that only now? It's the reason many people (me included) had to hide their profile page... I have a few friends here who want to stay hidden, and they show up there. Otherwise I would have left my profile open...

Oh, was that already noted? My bad, hadn't seen it.
Suggestion: Recognize line / paragraph breaks in about me section.
(Would call it bug that they're not, but guess it's intentional... So want to write a bit more... or post a list, like favorite games or your system, and it's just a messy wall of text.)

Tauto: How about this one? A count of time spent logged into Gog? Yep! It could become embarrassing.

toxicTom: What's embarassing about 24/7?
If you need to be told the answer to that then you probably need another hobby, umm like having a life.

kbnrylaec: Type: Bug
Description: Number of owned games do not update realtime.
I bought Spellcasting 1+2+3 and the number only increase in https://www.gog.com/account
After hours, the count in profile still unchanged.
24 hours after I bought Spellcasting 1+2+3, the number in my profile still do not increase.
Please don't post links they don't work right and I'm not going to go searching, if you have suggestion or bug please just post it.

Description: Add an option to de-activate profiles completely for those who don't want them.
The other suggestion I added but this one I don't see the point IF GOG adds the other suggestions already posted. This would make everything effectively hidden and your profile would essentially be deactivated to everyone but you.

unisol2k1: 2)video recording (i know win10 has it, but its buggy mess....)
3)better privacy settings (change the opt out we have now with opt in)
4)maybe.....gog should have achievements first before making a profile about achievements.....most games dont have them even if the same games have them on steam. I WANT FALLOUT 3 ACHIEVEMENTS (yes, i am aware that the steam version has no achievements ...)
This stuff isn't really profile specific and 3 has already been added. The first one though I added.

I think someone already reported this?

I don't feel like this is a real suggestion so nope not going to add it as I'm trying to conserve space.

EDIT: Removed post when I noticed the OP doesn't want this thread to be used for discussing the "issues" surrounding this matter. Ain't I nice? :)

I see your point. This suggestion may not be that important, but it would have two advantages to deactivate a profile completely: one is mere convenience. When I click on my username I am taken to my profile. Which I don't use and don't wont. Yes, I can scroll down in the menu and click on 'Games' instead, but it would be more convenient to be able to change it. The second advantage of not having a profile at all would be, that something that doesn't exist can't be hacked either. I don't know how secure the information is that GOG collects. With GOG's track record I would guess 'not at all secure'. So I would prefer a setting that tells GOG to delete my profile.
NB. Temporal budgetary restrictions prevent me from reading the entire thread so my sincere regrets for the cause of any redundancy should any of the below have been previously suggested.

Description: The ability to comment on the posts made on profiles.
Regarding this, the option to:
(1)only allow friends to comment
(2)block selected individuals from commenting on one's profile
(3)Additional to blocking comments, blocking said individual Gog users from viewing one's profile.
Suggestion: Add "On Activity Feed" to the SHARE drop-down on the Order Completed Successfully page. For orders with multiple items it's worth adding the checkboxes to specify what games to share.
Got another suggestion: if you're on most any profile tab that auto-loads more content, like someone with a large library or friends list or lots of activity feed, all those links in the footer of the page are practically unreachable. Maybe there could some kind of a 'Show more' button that either loads a certain amount of content at a time or enables the auto-loading as it behaves now, or all of the footer links that aren't already in the header should be moved somewhere within the header, or some other solution.
Suggestion:
Ability to add/recommend a GOGmix on profiles.
A GOG badge on The G-Team profiles (like in the chat, in case of impostors).

Feature/(Bug?)
Friends with hidden profile disappears from user friends list, but are kept on the account list of friends.
Suggestion:
Let it stay this way unless you find a better solution ; )
They added the artworks from past promos and events as new backgrounds for the profiles!
