Impaler26: I noticed that the chat doesn't work at all for me. When i click on "chat" from the "Account" tab i just get a blank page and it doesn't even try to load the chat.

Also whenever i hover over someone's avatar i just get a box saying "Sorry, data for given user is currently unavailable. Please, try again later.".

I have never changed my nick here so apparently it's a general problem.
I've got the same problem since yesterday.

Sorry to hear that. At least now i know it's not just my account.

I did update to Firefox 40.0.3 meanwhile, logged out and in again and tried an account refresh but the problem persists.

mrkgnao: ne_zavarj has changed her nick about a month ago to Painted_Doll. I just tried "Start Conversation" and "View Wishlist" on her avatar and got 404. But I don't know what her settings are. You might want to contact her and ask.

Do report here if the issue is somehow resolved, for it may be relevant to my own issue (cannot access the friends page since 22 May 2015; I get only gogbear).
This may be an issue with the special structure/ characters of the usernames. Coelocanth changed his username to GR00T, and I can access his public wishlist just fine (he has his chat restricted to only friends).

Have you tried if deleting your cookies will fix it?

Yep, i deleted all cookies from GOG but that also didn't fix the problem.

good find! ya maybe it's just related to the "_" within the nicknames - might be quite a good and logical explanation . There's also the user "Just Another Wallet" who changed their username at the time the NAS was introduced. I don't recall what their previous username was, but I can access their public wishlist and start a conversation via their avatar with no issues or hiccups.

I just tried with Google Chrome and i'm having the same problems as with Firefox. This bug is getting annoying.

Also attached pics of how the chat and hovering over a users avatar look for me at the moment:

I just got 2 chat notification flags but the chat still doesn't work for me. GOG's forum software never fails to disappoint... :/

Your problem seems that flash/java or whatever technology GOG is using for those parts is missing from you machine - either it is not installed or it's blocked, didn't you get some notification when trying to load chat, btw how long did you waited for it to load, because I sometimes need to stay on the chat page for a good minute or two in order for it to load?

I already thought about flash/java problems too but i have both installed and every other site which uses them works fine. I don't even get to the chat page. Whenever i click on chat it just switches to a blank screen and doesn't even try to load, no matter how long i let it sit.
