sanscript: What do you mean by this exactly?

Also, I just find it a bit odd that he has no forum as far as I can see, and he makes it sounds like Robolinux has some "revolutionary innovative professional VM technology" when it's only scrips and VirtualBox.

A bit shady to hide the fact that you need to "buy" it, or now "donate" to his poor Cambodian "family" without proof. Unless there's a real review of this I wouldn't trust it.

Simply make at least a $25 donation to Robolinux and Robo will send you an email and ask you for a Tech Support appointment time.
While Robo is helping you he will provide you with the correct Stealth VM and C Drive to VM Software versions.

sanscript: So it wasn't FREE like the icon on the desktop would like you to believe?

Seriously, it's like reading a car salesman's fast-tracked voice where he makes it sounds like you get way with more than you're paying for, to the point where he loose money on "giving" you the car. :D
Meant to say that Linux Mint has the most "Windows 7" feel of all the linux distros I've tried out.

eh...Robolinux looks to be built for/targeted towards newbies 2 linux wanting Windows installed for their specific needs.
As a distinct linux distro, robolinux appears to have been going for over 6 years. source on this claim: https://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=robolinux

distrowatch.org is a pretty good site for tracking linux/bsd distro news.
OP wants
Well I find it very dishonest if they're charging for something that they claim to be free, and I really had no intention of buying any Linux, but in any case, I've settled on what I'm going to do (or at least try to do), and I'm reformatting my drive now (it'll probably be done some time tomorrow). Then I'll restore Windows from the backup.
Did the OP's project ever finish?
I'm working on it, but at this point it's morphed into probably converting C# into Java.
"converting C# into Java"

How did that happen?
Ugh, it's a long story, but basically, the whole point of all of this was to get my .NET programs to work cross-platform, and eventually I found out that they're not compatible even when using the Core, unless they're console applications. I guess it's 1986 again and we're all using DOS. So anyway, now I'm trying to get them converted to Java, which is cross-platform!
