Helllo,

i want only to install prey main game from the deluxe Version, not the DLC because i dont have much HDD Space left. In the Install Option the DLC Button is grey. i have to install it? why? Or can i change this?

There is an option to install the offline version separately (why is this possible?) but i cant choose a folder or language there?

If that doesnt work i cant use it atm. is it possible to get a refund like on steam or changing it to the normal edition and dlc separately? It is nearly the same price but i hope when buying separately i can chose what i want to install on my own.

Normally, if you download the offline installers from the website, the dlc are separate installers. Don’t know how this works in galaxy.
That being said, if you don’t have disk space for a small dlc, you have far bigger issues. Why do you not have hdd space left? Thought about backing up offline installers to other hdd’s and uninstalling some things? I have a 1gb ssd for Windows and installed items and am nowhere near filling that up. I do however have several 15tb+ backup drives separate from that. Really only going to have major issues if you keep everything installed, I know however that is not fashionable nowadays.

thx for the reply. well i can download a separate version of prey in galaxy but it seems only in english via offline download. i would like to install the game via standard process but without the DLC but it seems it doesnt work.

the small dlc is around 15 gb and i have some games and use only SSDs which are not cheap plus i have a notebook so i dont have unlimited slots/USB Ports free, but you can buy me a new 1TB SSD . it is nice what you have but it doesnt help me.

ok, never used the offline installation thingy before. you have an installer after download and you can say where you want to install the game and there is also german as language. the info about the offline installation is a bit misleading and complicated.

it should be possible to select if you want or not the DLC directly in the main installoption of gog galaxy.

As I said, I don’t know galaxy and don’t use it. I also don’t own this game specifically, 15gb dlc though, crikey.
Anyways, just download the main installer from the web site, then install from that, and have galaxy scan for installed games. That way you get the main game only. Oh, and you can select from the options on the website which language version to use.

To add, having your own backups of software is really the only reason to buy here.

It's basically a separate game instead of a 2-5GB story tack-on like some recent games tend to do.
