The program is what most of us old farts were waiting to happen. There are alot of games that could do with some attention.

If GOG reads these
black and white 1 & 2 epic games made by lionhead studios that I think microsoft now owns but these games are iconic
the movies - the originals not the recent remake copy
Yeah, well, the chances of MS releasing anything here are basically zero, nothing for GOG to do about it really.
Activision, hm, may not be entirely impossible in itself, but if remakes exist, then it's highly unlikely for the originals to be released somewhere.
Chances of GoG eventually getting the thumbs up for B&W 1 and 2 re-releases by Microsoft and/or EA are a smidgen higher than Sony agreeing to re-release anything from the Psygnosis back catalogue though.

Given that Sony likely doesn't want to be associated with a bunch of old-ass and ancient-looking games and would rather keep that chapter in their history buried and forgotten.
Yeah, it's not as if these games were the most popular games in the dreamlist of all time or something.

Also, Activision is Microsoft now. So same slim pickings.

Not only is Black & White in a rights purgatory, but it more simply comes to being a technical nightmare to run. You can run it, but Bob from Accounting might have trouble. Both of the games have issues that might seem trifling, but imagine trying to guide your aunt/grandma though it.

All this to play a mediocre (maybe a 5 or 6 on a full scale) game whose legend is exaggerated by inaccessibility. Playing Babysitting Mama while playing Populous off to the side is not a good time.
