Not going to get in an argument with you. I laid out the situation. You can be willfully blind if you want.

Ixamyakxim: To me, it's the same as buying toilet paper super cheap, like way cheaper than anywhere else.
Unless there's a black marked on the dark part of the internet flooded with stolen toilet-paper I don't really see the connection there...

In Norway we have f.ex Lamda which is considered very soft and expensive, and then we have First Price which is a bit rougher but very inexpensive. If I buy the super cheap First Price toilet paper in the store I'm actually getting what I buy, there's no scam there.

Anyway, one have to be really thick-headed to buy a game or a movie from someone that doesn't host them themselves Just buy them directly from a content provider, like GOG, Steam, Epic, Origin (preferably from the first one of course).

tl;dr: Never buy from a keyseller that don't host the game themselves

I used to like https://gg.deals/ because they only compare game prices and link directly to the store that actually have the game, but they also promote keysellers which is (usually) a bad thing. Although, when Enderal got released I think I found a key to the old Skyrim on cdkeys (was it?) because Bethesda had Steam hiding the original one so only SE was available, so they can sometimes be of help but it's not easy to find a legit keyseller, but it's best to stay away unless they have a really good reputation and are officially supported.

pds41: The moral of the story is - if it looks too good to be true it probably is.
There should be a "drivers test" that include critical thinking when buying a computer, a phone or anything with the ability to connect to the internet.

imho it is the opposite , you are the one who is blind
every key seller site is run by criminals... how that view isnt blind?

Using these sites is fine, just be aware some of them can be scammers

DoomSooth: How is it so cheap? Is it used?

pds41: Grey market.
When I asked why it's so cheap and if it's used, I was talking about the toilet paper. :)

recycled one side is still intact
Lol, you paid for pirate software, serves you right.

Next time donate the money to a twitch thot, she'll definitely fall in love with you.
*sigh*

I feel bad for you, but ultimately you did the equivalent of buying a bootleg game from a market trader only to get home and find out it doesn't work. You don't have any recourse because you didn't buy from a legitimate source.

I realised that was likely when I posted and added the edit.

Although I'd also suggest the toilet paper could be nicked as well - although they would be the worst thieves in history...

Reading comprehension not your strong point? I didn't say every key seller. I said 'many' of the sites are grey market sellers, and I also noted that some of the keys may be legit.

I'll not respond again, as you seem determined to see what you want to see.

Orkhepaj: why shouldnt i buy when all my keys worked?
it is the same as saying dont buy on amazon or anywhere cause you could be scammed
Except Amazon is a reputable authorized retailer with regulations and a reputation for properly settling disputes (and scammers do occasionally exist on there) and these gray market sellers are generally rife for exploitation with their lax regulations and denial of responsibility.

Don't bother. The guy obviously doesn't give a shit where the keys come from as long as he gets his gaemz.
