One shot, one kill. Both ways. In Titan Souls, everyone is always on the brink of death. You have one arrow, and you'll have to get it back if you miss your shot. One is all you need, because that's all it takes to take down the towering bosses that stand in your way - assuming you can find their weak point first. Titan Souls is about control, trial-and-error, observation, and learning fiendishly difficult attack patterns. The name is no coincidence, you will die a lot - but each time will be an amazing learning experience.

Thanks for the info. I should check that game, because I didn't play SotC, but according to the both gamers and reviewers, it's a top-rated game. A must-have.
This game had everything to be right up my alley, theoretically: a sense of old-school gameplay, gorgeous pixel art, another awesome Devolver Digital release -- those guys have been publishing some of my personal favourite video games in the last couple of years --, a seemingly hard difficulty... all things I adore in a video game.

It would have been an instabuy for me, but when I look at the trailer and the screenshots (either on GOG or on Devolver's dedicated game page), something feels a bit off... I think it's the lack of detail and attention of and to the main character. I'm a sucker for pixel art, but it has to have that extra 'oomph' that this game seems to have all around, except for the playable character...

I still wishlisted it, but it's not a high-priority buy. Like others, I'll probably try playing it before deciding on whether the whole experience overcomes that huge personal shortcoming.

I'm getting more of a Link to the Past vibe than Shadow of the Colossus after playing the demo. The 2nd boss was really annoying, bothersome that there was no button to pause the game (escape didn't work at least) and I died so many times that the walk distance between respawn and the boss became more annoying than the actual boss.

Very good feel in general, digging the art design and the music too. I can't wait to play the entire game.
Wel, seems they are going to release this game on linux platform after al:
