Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner was a college student when he created one of the biggest-selling games of 1984: Karateka. Now, in the form of a new interactive documentary from Digital Eclipse, you’ll be able to discover how Karateka was made through an exhaustive archive of design documents, playable prototypes, and all-new video features.

The Making of Karateka is now available to pre-order on GOG with a -25% discount that lasts until August 29th, 4 PM UTC.

Besides all the interactive documentary elements, The Making of Karateka will also allow you to enjoy pixel-perfect versions of the original Karateka games and a variety of never-before-seen early prototypes, as well as Karateka Remastered – an all-new version of the original game featuring cutting-room-floor content, commentary, achievements, and more, and Deathbounce: Rebounded – a fast and frantic twin-stick shooter based on Jordan's unpublished prototype.

One comprehensive package of the amazing gaming history! Pre-order now and make full use of the discount!
Amazing job, GOG! It can be pre-ordered here on GOG, and with a discount. However, it's only available to be wishlisted on Steam.

Mobeeuz: That 'actual information' was exactly this, as the store page clearly states...

No achievements.

SargonAelther: Hopefully it'll have achievements.

SargonAelther: This may still get updated when the game comes out, it remains to be seen.
Actually the game already has the achievements visible and they are being tested, so at 99% they will be available and working at launch.

Where are they visible?
Except it's missing various micro computer ports and the remake. Not quite a complete history. Not sure why Digital Eclipse do this. They pulled the same stunt with the Cowabunga Collection by not including the micro computer ports of the first TMNT game.
