The Caligula Effect: Overdose is now available for pre-order DRM-free. Stigma Bundle DLC is available for free, and other DLC are available 25% off until March 19th, 6 PM UTC.

Mobius. An idyllic world that exists for the sake of letting people forget about the pain and problems of reality. In this world created by a sentient vocaloid program, μ (Mu), reality and fantasy has become blurred, allowing people to relive their high school years in bliss. Yet in this seemingly beautiful and perfect world, something is amiss.
"Look, we have kept some content out of the base game, just for you, to be able to give you a free extra already on game release!"

I guess having a bunch of DLCs already on game release isn't enough anymore, there has to be something you can give away for "free" now. Stupid me, who thinks they just could have integrated it into the base game. :P

Didn't like the anime about it, but might have tried the game if it was available on Linux natively. Well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I loves me some JRPGS! Thanks gog for acquiring them!

EDIT: I know it sucks that the Japanese gaming industry are such DLC whores, but as a fan of JRPGs I'm stuck with this, I'll play my JRPGs, but won't buy the DLCs!

Game + Soundtrack + Artbook = €57.57

2 Costumepacks = €25.68

Are you flippin' kidding me?

2 Costumepacks at what, 24 Costumes, are nearly HALF the price of the GAME + SOUNDTRACK + ARTBOOK?

No thanks!

I'm getting it, without a doubt, but I want to see some reviews on a functional game released on time before I pay them again after the Ys VIII fiasco.

How many months was that game delayed, after it was anounced less than a day before the offiicial launch, then it was a month more of patches before the game was playable.

The money is already set aside, and I hope to be throwing it at them next week, but the last two games I pre-ordered from NISA (one here and another on Steam) were a real mess out of the gate and had already been on sale by the time a functional product was actually pathed into existence.
Nice, I'm particularly happy that the soundtrack is available as well, under $5.00 for a JRPG soundtrack feels like a steal compared to the prices I've used to pay for these, especially way back in the day. :) Even if it's not the whole thing, it still has the tracks I wanted like Suicide Prototype.

Alexim:
Seconded.

It really can't be that difficult to interface with Galaxy, can it?
Well, those specs and that price solve my dilemma of what to do with this game... Wishlist. Not sure the 940MX can handle it.
I wonder if Japan will ever decide to make RPGs with actual character creation, or if we're doomed to be playing trendy 16 year olds forever.

EDIT: Jesus this game is $80 AUD?! Who the frell is gonna pay that much money, even 40$ would be too high for a game of this level of production values.

£10.70 ($13.98) wallet funds? I'll pass! Even the discounted DLC has wallet funds attached!

Looks like Aus gets an even worse deal! Do they actually want to sell this game? :-o

fronzelneekburm: With a title like this, I'd rather have a game where you play as a mad Roman emperor that sleeps with his sister, names his horse a consul, has treacherous senators executed en masse and forces their wives into prostitution.

This game has none of that. Hard PASS!
WHAT? Way to get my hopes up!

I was looking forward to be a schizophrenic psychopath in Roman times, randomly murdering and raping everyone around me just for luls. Being Japanese means that it had the potential to be extra-crazy, since Japs don't tend to hold back on the crazy (especially when it's animated).
No Malcolm McDowell, no buy.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Ahahahaha!

Seriously.... That song is divine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1ZFayCCows

Also it appears that the pc port is decent according to early reviews. Redemption?
