A very interesting expansion for space strategic game from Paradox Interactive can already be seen on the horizon. Right now, you can pre-order Stellaris: Federations on GOG.COM.

It gives players a unique possibility to expand their diplomatic dominion over the galaxy with new options to influence, manipulate, and dominate foes and friends alike without firing a single shot.
Nice, but I bet all my mods will get broken and I'll have to wait weeks for them to get updated :(

Does Paradox consider a lifetime/no bullshit edition for like 80-99 bucks that handles all current and future DLC like patches? Stellaris looks fine but its too bloated with its DLCs to be realistically considered for me.

Our only chance might be when Stellaris 2 gets released, they will stop shoving out new DLCs then and maybe we'll even get a "Complete" package. Until then, I'm afraid that I have to stay away from Stellaris.

I think Pdox have realized that they are making more money from DLC than base games, so I think some time in the future they'll be a "subscription" type thing, like a season pass.
