Metal Wolf Chaos XD is now available for pre-order. Buy the game before release on August 6th to get an exlusive skin.

Hopefully this game with an exclusive Galaxy skin will also have full support for its features, including achievements!

I've been eagerly waiting for this ever since Devolver announced it two E3s ago, during their "conference", so I insta-preordered. Nice! I don't really care about the Galaxy skin, I'm just pre-ordering because Devolver ROCKS and I want to thank and support them.

except I've been waiting since way before the announcement. I think when Night Dive got System Shock rights, I thought, man, wouldn't it be awesome if Devolver got Metal Wolf Chaos. This timeline keeps delivering.

Well, I think it's very important this title has a good amount of sales.

Only via good sales, we can have some hopes to see here the Souls Serie.

Think about this title as a means than a purpose.

This is a really fun game! It’s actually one of the few Xbox games exclusive to Japan but can be played on a modded Xbox with English fan translations. The original Xbox game costs about $200 and is very collectible, mainly due to it being a FromSoftware game I suppose. I have it but I’ll still buy the PC-version of course.

not really an incentive for me to preorder since i dont use the client, but I'll probably buy when its released.
gotta wonder if taking a look at the current potus led the japanese to think the western world is ready for this ridiculous story :D

The way I understand it, it's a "Galaxy themed skin", meaning that it's a skin based on Galaxy, not that you need the client to acquire it. I've read a bunch of posts implying that you seem to need Galaxy in order to obtain the skin. But I don't see a single statement from GOG implying that.
IMHO that would be sort of similat to GOG forcing DRM to get the skin.

Maybe I'm mistaken and it's just an issue of english interpretation, though. If anyone can clarify, please do.

actually it seems you're right, preorders on different platforms get different mech suit skins.
I had a long day at work and its freakin hot, whats all the other misreaders excuse! :D
anyway would be nice to see the skin before doing that preorder :D
