Alright so yesterday for whatever reason the store was stuck on USD when logged via Galaxy.
It was also briefly the case for the website but clearing cookies/logins may have helped in fixing it.

So today after seeing that the issue had persisted on Galaxy, i went into C: > ProgramData (this is a hidden folder mind you) > GOG.com > Galaxy > webcache and wiped the contents ( tho i suspect that was overkill since cookies seem to be stored in webcache>common.)

At any rate, this restored the in-Galaxy store to EUR for me, so i am sharing this info in case someone needs it.
I suspect it would work in case the store display language is wrong too.

Note: Do NOT delete anything outside the webcache folder.
Note2: Do not forget to shut down Galaxy before attempting the above as restarting the client will recreate the files in webcache.

Thank you - this worked a treat! Been pulling my hair out up until now. :)

Thank you for this. I had the same problem on the Mac, but clearing the WebCache folder did the trick. For Mac users: quit Galaxy, then go to Users > Shared > GOG.com > Galaxy > WebCache and clear the contents. Restart Galaxy and you should be good to go.
For me, this did not work.

But reopening Galaxy after clearing the cache and then going into settings, change the currency to something else, and change it back to USD worked for me. I do not know if clearing the cache had anything to do with changing and changing the currency back again had anything to do with it working for me.

Edit: Did not see until after posting this that the thread is old, but it seems that this error still persists in Galaxy...

Lol, the topic you've managed to unearth from its dusty old tomb is so decrepit that it's referencing GOG Galaxy 1.2 (at least, I think it is). Surprisingly this topic was on the first page of search engine results, so I guess it was a pretty easy error to have made...
