Could someone first explain what a "critical hit" means in this context? I earlier saw some people mention it, with no explanation what it means.

I bought a few games from the ongoing promo. Did I get a few critical hits?

A Critical Hit:

When you click the buy button and you see a message "you got a critical hit", which allows you to purchase the game free of charge.

It only works on the Flash sale games, and you can try it with every game that comes up, whether or not you actually intend to buy the game.

Only need to try once per game (per day, different days may result in a critical hit).

I got like 5 of those during the sale :( Not a single hit DUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE :) I am relly jealous, right now :) congrats.

I did buy 7 games (actually 11 when you add packaged games like Tomb Raider 1+2+3), so I critical hit would be nice :) But then I do not have the time to play bought games ....

still envious, though :P

Ah ok. I haven't got any critical hits then, possibly because I have most of the promoed games already so I rarely try to buy them. I've bought three games so far, I think. If I still see Wasteland 2 on the offer, I will try it, but I can wait for another sale for it...
