An Alan Wake flavoured freebie - due to not being able to use a laptop touchpad! O___o
1x
Aarklash Legacy on the first day.
Another World x1

@pateralf, well done! :)
1x Neverending Nightmares -> kept for myself
1x Clive Barker's Undying -> given
1x King of Dragon Pass -> given
Can't say I've received any since I'm not sure how they'll appear. Will the check-out page show it, does it occur after selecting the payment method, or is it shown on the purchase confirmation page? Only picked up three titles from the sale so nothing noteworthy.

Some of my feedback has been negative towards a few releases so in certain ways can't blame them. They still were not "attacks," nor bashing GOG's main selling incentive (DRM-free). I'm sure account age comes into play too.

Pretty sure it doesn't, actually.
1x Hogs of War.

I haven't gotten any, although I've already bought 8 games the last two days. Maybe I'm unsure what a "Critical hit" is? Is there just a random chance of you getting an extra and free game when you buy during the Insomnia sale?
I sure like to see the statistics of these :)
I'm only using an old Firefox 28.0 (Don't ask? Well you may ask if you like) and So far:
First day gave me 1xKentucky Route Zero Season Pass (I was around when this was offered again but didn't get another)
Second day gave me 1xCapsized 1xDracula Trilogy (I missed the first time both these were offered)
Third day gave me nothing so far, and I did click on every title on the 3rd cycle (including Indy that I got to click in both previous cycles).
None. I've participated in all three Insomnia sales, and so far have never been lucky enough to get something free. Fortunately I have the disposable income to afford the games I want. Still, the fact that some folks have managed to get 3-5 free games is crazy.

Been here since the beginning, so I really doubt there's any account loyalty in play.

EDIT: Funny, as soon as I mention I haven't got a free game, I get a free game. Drox Operative. Which I already own, and got for free (Steven Peeler, guy who made it, asked me once to review it for him). http://puu.sh/gmYEW/ee4889b60e.png

When you hit "BUY" on the main page, you'll get a message in the next window saying "Critical hit". Allowing you to buy the game free of charge. The main trick is clicking buy on each game that comes up. First click only, as we've determined that multiple tries results in nothing.

That's actually surprising to hear.

Account loyalty is one of the easiest ways digital distributers reward their users; unless the last purchase made was like 4 years ago.

Thanks for the tip, I'll keep that in mind. And here I was waiting for each deal to sell out of quantities to see the next one.

Wouldn't be surprised if one was offered and never noticed it.

Purely anecdotal on my part, but from my experience, it doesn't seem the account age has anything to do with it. I've bought and given away over 150 games during the GOG sales and have never managed to snag a freebie that I can recall. I have received a game code or two during other GOG events (one specifically geared toward long-time account holders), but never during the sale periods. As well, during one of the other Insomnia sales, I seem to recall seeing quite a significant number of newer account holders reporting that they received freebies. Again, purely anecdotal though.
1x Drox Operative
1x Battlefield Kronos
1x Capsized
1x Children of the Nile

Both within the first hour of the sale. Last one near the very end.

Some people have really received five games... or several big-dollar games? Amazing!
