Was wondering why it hasn't been released here, but after playing the game for a bit, I think there's no need. I'd rather go back to PR2.

Kalypso ruined yet another game. And Gaming Minds, lost their mind completely, it seems...

watched the trailer this afternoon and it did look quite oke

Well, it's alright if you're new to this type of games. But if you have played the old PR/2 and/or Patrician, this game is way too mediocre and oversimplified in comparison. :(

The Patrician 4 also seems to have a very mediocre rating on steam. Since the game is 10 years old I always wondered why it never came to GOG. I'm starting to suspect why, then :(

You don't need and you don't want Patrician 4. I have been playing this games my whole childhood. I've played them all. Patrician III and Port Royale 2 are the best games, today. The older ones are even better, but a bit too old I find.

The first Port Royale is the one most to my taste. The second game copied too much from Pirates! Live the Life. Things that that game does better. Did they ever fix PR3?

I don't think they did. I haven't played it till the end to be able to tell exactly, cause I got bored of the game pretty fast. Which never happened to me with the older ones.

The game is pretty playable today tho. It's just not as fun as the older ones. :(
