How big is the image?

What is the ***SPECIFIC*** file name including extension?

What browser are you using?

Someone went through this a month or so ago and we did some tests.

The file extension has to be in lower-case letters now (GOG made some changes to the forum back end about a month ago).

Also it has to be the three letter version, not like *.jpeg.

Some file types are also disallowed.

I asked my questions simply because I didn't want to sit here and list off a half dozen items to figure out what one was the issue.

It's just a ordinary text post with no attachments. That's the weird part. I'm not trying to post a file. :S

For what it's worth, the forum is being really weird off-and-on for me today. Shows me logged in but is using the default settings, new post button was grayed-out even though I was logged in, made me log in to post even though I was already logged in...

And then it decides to work after clicking through several threads. Happened a week or so back, too, and also to some other folks.

Maybe it's just getting cranky in its old age.

Haven't seen the word "image" in the pop up before but the New Thread popup remaining afterwards has been an issue for quite some time.

Sorry for the confusion. Someone on GoG staff modified the image restrictions and someone here discovered it by accident and we did some testing on what was allowed and what wasn't. Was thinking that was the issue here.

Rather ridiculously, GOG not only has a massively tiny image upload image total, but also PER image. I think it's some absurdly low number like 500 KB.

So I can upload this image of an ancient Ramdrive icon, but my actual avatar is told to piss off; even though it's 1.30 MB.

Oh, have you perhaps used a shadowbanned phrase that GOG uses to try and feebily filter out spambots?

It was more likely a formatting error(missed brackets and such)....if you mess up a post's formatting and try to post it won't post.....and if you try correcting it then re-posting it will also not post if the words are near the exact same as before(likely a counter spam mechanic in the forums).

If it was as simple as a formatting error, then I wouldn't have one of the phrases memorized. Go on, try this:

Without the periods.

Didn't work...which is odd....I wonder what's so objectionable about that phrase?
