I got given as a gift a new Macbook Pro, is there a way to install gog games you bought on PC to MAC without having to buy them again as my old PC Laptop died. That was a fun day :-/.

If you have bought the games here on Gog and there is (per game) a Mac-Build,
you can download it from your library.

On the detail page of your game, there will be a drop down field next to system,
so you can choose it (like windows, linux and mac)

Michael
Just download the Mac versions. Either download the Mac standalone installers or use Galaxy. That's for games that have Mac versions obviously. For games that don't, Wine typically works well for many games, especially older ones.

Before the peanut gallery chimes in with the usual misinformation, yes you can use Wine for 32-bit Windows games, and yes you can use Wine on M1 Macs, if that's what you have. Also, a minority of Mac versions were 32-bit, which you can still download from GOG but not run if you have an OS newer than 10.14, which is likely. Evil Genius is an example of that, but again you can run that nicely using Wine. If you're not familiar with Wine, probably Crossover is the simplest way of using it providing you don't mind spending a few bucks. If the Macbook is Intel-based, you can also use Bootcamp and dual-boot Windows.
It seems sadly there isn't a mac version available at all for Sim City 4, I have heard of wine, but I really have had no experience as this is my first time on a macbook. Is there a real good walk through on this? As I really love my gift and just want to play Sim City 4 and i tried CrossOver but it seems like they don't support it some how.

Yeah, that's a problem where some Mac versions are not on GOG, because the porting company (Aspyr in this case) has a bug up their butt about DRM. To run it natively, you'd have to get Sim City 4 from the Mac App Store or Steam, which means shelling out another $20 or waiting for a sale.

I don't have Sim City 4 personally, but the Crossover compatibility page lists it as 5-star. Crossover is more automated than vanilla Wine, but for cases like this which require manual installation, there's a link to a page which describes how to do that. My experience with GOG games in Wine is the GOG installer sometimes bugs out at the very end, but it actually installs fine despite the errors which you can just click through.

sell it and buy a proper laptop
You could try Porting Kit, its Wine essentially but with pre made "recipes" for a lot of games, you wouldn't need much more than their launcher and the GOG install files (for Windows)

https://portingkit.com

The wrappers sometimes need tweaking or might not always work if they were made with an older OS version, mostly because Apple changed a lot of stuff with recent versions. But overall i often had luck with it.

Another option is using Parallels Desktop and an actual Windows installation, the ARM beta version already works on the new M1 processors, its slower and has a lot of overhead though, in general Wine would be preferable.
Plenty of Wine walkthroughs. Also support communities out there like https://www.reddit.com/r/wine_gaming/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/macgaming/

The best solution IMO is to dual boot Win10 with Boot Camp Assistant. Should run older games fine. If you want to get into modern AAA gaming for Windows only games, might want to look at eGPUs to help run it.

No such solution if it's the M1 version.

Good catch; I only own an Intel MBP. If not applicable, ignisferroque's suggestion to use Parallels 16.5+ is another way to VM Win 10 on an M1 MBP to play games like this video suggests. Demo it out with the free trial. His findings suggest to use offline installers anyway since he ran into issues with Battle.net launcher and all of its games. But he got some Steam games to work (FF7, FF10, GTA5).

I've used Porting Kit for a couple of games; it works pretty well. I'd recommend Wine over virtualization, since you don't have to buy Windows and run/maintain it, and it's more compatible with old Windows games than Windows is these days. It's can be more technical for certain games that require some fiddling to work right, but it's been a while since I've played anything that was any more complicated than install->run.

I can see we have a PC Enthusiast, sorry, but after also dealing with Crappy Windows and having to install updates which would ultimately kill my machine, which is why I think my old PC Died, yeah, thanks but no thanks. I am quite enjoying my Macbook and it runs smoother than a PC does. Anyway, I figured a way around it, I got a program called Parallels and installed the latest Windows, even though it is a nightmare, being Windows, And Porting Kit works, but only for some time till you have to update again. I think this topic can be closed, i just wish that Mac was in the working grounds for GOG and not ignored.
