Fairfox: Now, certainly, there is truth to this textual utterance; suffice it would to signal the exchange of currency (or verifiable receipt as a present) to mark the rightful owner of the virtual entertainment product in question. A direct correlation betwixt the financial expenditure and a thoughtful opinion piece, it may be difficult to prove, yet I firmly believe that probability of the latter is firmly on the rise if only a solid sum has changed hands. Take Lost Eden for example; even my humble self has grasped the excremental interactive concept of the childhood classic, yet still good folk will praise it to heaven and, verily, may jot their praise down on virtual paper.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Perfection is godlike, yet not GOGlike.
It may all come down to what you expect from a review, and for GOG to help you find the review that meets your expectations. Finding the review and reviewer that's right for you is still the duty of the prospective customer. For games at risk of unconditional praise or offhand rejection, the "verified purchase" badge would be really helpful. For all other games, probably not so much. But all that would be for the customer to decide. It's just... if he's being bombarded with reviews that don't meet anybody's standards, and has to wade through tons of mere first-review-woohoo mud to find a soundly formed opinion, he'll stop reading reviews altogether.

Also. "Day One review" badge. SERIOUSLY.

Fairfox: Methinks my thoughts have not yet dwelled enough on the subject to allow for such intricacies, and any such system likely lends itself to mistreatment if tagging and filtering were allowed to others, but doubtlessly the situation would be worse if kept as at present. Better to have such a system than nothing at all.
TL;DR: Get yo asses movin', blues. :)

The Dwarves:

Awful, just awful.

Rad Rodgers: World One:

Even awfuller.
Dwarf Fortress: Best. Game. Ever.
