So I realised a few days ago that GOG decided to erase the number of "votes" for games in their store and thought that it might be a mistake, but since it isn't fixed since today, i believe someone over there thought this is a good idea and has removed it intentionaly.
Also if you go the main page, the amount of comments that a news post has, isn't shown, too. I personaly don't care about this change.
HOWEVER you made your rating system just 100x worse now, GOG!
That's so stupid. It's like you go over to Amazon and see a 5/5 star product but find out that only 2 people voted for that product?!
Your stars don't mean ANYTHING now. There were games like Heroes of Might and Magic 3 or the Witcher games that had a few thousand votes and a 5/5 rating. This made it easier for players to check out what other's think about it.
Right now you go to a game that got released 1 day ago, only 50 people might have voted, it get's a 4/5 and you might get the illusion that it's a fantastic game, too.
Please fix this as soon as you can. You're going 1 step forward and 2 steps backwards with things like this. Nobody will get an advantage from this new system, since people will be even more "afraid" before they decide to buy a game!
I'm sometimes asking myself what the point of all the forum, wishes, suggestions etc. is, when people ask you to improve the way reviews are visible for people (by language, by helpfulness) and you don't add anything from that, but instead decide to make the Star rating pointless by not telling anybody, how many people rated a game...
