Frostyfirefly: This is good, I can never have too many ero games!

PS: Bring Maggot Baits GOG! You already brought Song of Saya, the sky's the limit now :-)
I see them bringing Pygmalion, Gakthun, Rance and others before that. Saya and Maggot Baits are no way even remotely close to each other. There are several horrific scenes of torture and rape in Maggot Baits. Saya gets rough, but not that rough. As far as content is concerned, the darkest stuff we have here is Dead End Aegis and Evenicle (in some places) by far. Dead End Aegis can be a very uncomfortable read.

I have also heard that VenusBlood can be really over the top with some of it's scenes, but cannot confirm that as I haven't sat down to play it. Been too busy with Ender Lilies (please come to GOG!).

No, I assure you they exist. And they really like this stuff. Keep in mind I interviewed one about this kind of material before.

Me thinks that was sarcasm of amok.

It's weird, but "they exist" and "I interviewed one" don't add up, but I'm really not sure why...

Well, I did. She's actually an aspiring sex therapist in her last year of college. We were going to do another interview to talk about some other things, but she's having some bad health issues right now. She used to be on that female league of Legends team, but left after that cringy commercial they made, which she said was a bad idea. Aside from the eroge (which is what she called it) she used to be a competitive gamer in several different genres (it felt like I was talking to an athlete because she took this shit VERY seriously).

Nevertheless, she stated that "eroge is something that both men and women can enjoy" and she also claimed "it does a better job of discussing sexual topics and fetishes than porn does." But about the rape, she admitted that a lot of women are on the down low interested in aggressive sexual play, or what she called "consensual non-consensual sex" and that the world is not yet ready for this. A lot of women do hide this, but some don't. I had a female friend once who told me she wanted to be choked, suffocated with a pillow right up until her head got fuzzy and then she mentioned that she liked to drip hot candle wax on men. Also, don't forget there are guys out there who like to be whipped as well as the crinkle diaper fetish people, which is the most degenerate shit I've ever heard. And that exists with both women and men.

Sir, I can show you things that will make you question your own sanity. The world is not black and white, it is grey. I would post a link to the interview, but the GOG mods will not like that because the only link I have now is on alt-tech, because YouTube nuked my channel and the backup. So all my content is on other platforms now.

I wasn't saying you didn't. It's just that you said "they exist", implying multiple people, but then said "I interviewed one", implying, well, only one person. I found it rather funny. Anyway, I was only kidding, and I see what you mean, but the problem I always have when I read things like this is that it always feels exaggerated. Someone talks to a few people, these people happen to share the same tastes about something, and suddenly it becomes a fact that every people like those few have to have those tastes as well, because why not? I'm not saying that you're doing that, however. I just like to take this kind of information with a grain of salt.

I know the world isn't black and white, and while I don't feel like questioning my own sanity right now, I'm sadly already aware of a lot of weird things that some people like, and I would be very grateful if you could spare me knowing anything new about this kind of things.

Edit: I'm a little curious about the interview you mentioned. If you think the GOG mods would not like you to put a link to it on here, you can PM it to me, if that's okay with you.

I'm sure it's in the backlog. Kagura told me they didn't want to flood the site with all the backlog titles they have for GOG.

That's a very biased page. We don't need to be bringing up politics here and they are mentioned in several threads there. This is only going to encourage more political debate. The reason why I did not link the original conversation here is because the link is on a site with a lot of politics around it. None of that needs to be here, but the conversation was important so I mentioned it. And yes, finally, there are a lot more women than you think into this kind of thing and most dare not speak about it.
