Shadowstalker16: You do understand that they're intermediaries right? They can't bypass barriers that banks place in accordance with the laws or rules that their governments have put in place. If they could, Paypal or googlepay wouldn't even be needed because Visa or Mastercard could do the same thing.

Just because a store supports Gpay or Paypal doesn't mean the bank will allow a transfer through it to somewhere that it normally won't. That's why payment processors need integration / support from the store or merchant-side to make them work properly and that's why supporting local payment processors like the one that poster is talking about would help.

My good friend you are quite right! I hate to see users from different countries simply dismissing a payment method that can benefit more users who are willing to purchase games from GOG.

What it impacts in other countries routine? Absolutely nothing. Brazil is 5° biggest gaming market by number of players in the world. I think it is for the best to add PIX for BR users.

PIX is a successful case study, a pioneer as a solution for instant payments. I think India have a similiar payment solution too.

For my american friend: The world don't revolve around you! Chill.

It is probably just another poorly documented already-available-feature.
I have read different reports that both Bank Transfer and E-WALLETS work with PIX payment.

Quando for comprar, use transferência bancária. No site do boa compra vai aparecer a opção de pagar por pix.

É isso. Se eu tivesse procurado um pouco mais, teria achado haha. Obrigado. Mas está meio escondida a opção de pagar por pix. Como um mano falou ali em cima, na steam, aparece logo de cara a opção de pagar com o pix. Mas dnv, obrigado.

Is this status display (the link hints at one, anyway) available outside the Muskverse, like on the gog.com homepage somewhere? I don't do Meta, either, though.

It's sad that this PIX got 69 votes since 2022, while the EU-wide SEPA system only got 22 since 2013. Europeans seem to be fine with american or other arbitrary intermediaries.
