snowkatt: but yeah they should get in to hardware
look at how well valve is doing ( not at all )

BKGaming: Actually the Steam controller and the Steam Link has been a pretty good success for Valve. If I was them I would double down on that and drop Steam OS/ Steam Machines. I could totally see GOG coming out with a low cost GOG Link, but they arguably don't have the user base for it. Maybe 5 or 10 years from now things might be different.

In the mean time, GOG would do well to expand Galaxy and create a Big Picture Mode for it, as well as game streaming. Things that could benefit GOG on 3rd party hardware.
the steam machines on the otherhand are dead in the water
which is what i was talking about

joelandsonja: I would absolutely love to see GOG.com get on board with an idea like this! Think about playing some of your favourite GOG.com games on this incredible handheld. This thing makes the 3DS look like a Fisher Price toy!

BKGaming: I don't see why you couldn't even without GOG supporting it... looks to be running Windows 10, so you should just be able to download Galaxy, etc and use it (though you would probably need to hook up and mouse and keyboard which is supported by the looks of it).
Good point ... let's hope the games will recognize the built in controller.

Apparently the PGS Lite will feature a keyboard in place of the second screen.
Lol, the whole pc portable is hard to accomplish, you have to balance performance, battery and price, the GPD WIN is more expensive than that PGS and it fails to impress, perhaps it serves well as a indie/old (emulator) games handheld so something is really fishy with the price of this PGS...

Y'know, that brings up a good point:
Why wouldn't you just get a laptop/one of those Surface tablet things with a keyboard or whatever instead of buying a PGS?

to presumably play pc games ( or emulated console games )
on the go with out the hassle of whipping out a laptop

Get a small laptop, or use the Surface tablet as I mentioned. They aren't THAT big.

smal laptops are a hassle though
and not that easy to use in say a bus
Nothing beats pulling out and playing your own handheld system ... a laptop simply doesn't compare. That's why Nintendo has been so successful over the last several decades. Unfortunately they haven't kept up with technological improvements.

Well, if you're talking about robustness of construction then yes. This looks fragile.
