Before this thread gone in unsavory direction, let me say that I don't believe New Zealanders needs to harden up cause they already have Steven Adams, currently the NBA's strongest man (it used to be one of my favorite player Nikola Pekovic, but he's retired).

Yeah, so is "scotsman".

David9855: A person who plays games can be called a 'gamer' there is no 'gamer' culture, just people who play games and mostly for fun. Some of them like to cheat when they finish the game or do crazy edits.

morolf: Nope, "gamer" is a honorific title, not everyone is deserving of it and the solidarity by other gamers coming with it.
I certainly don't feel I have anything in common with weakling cheaters, or with filthy console peasants for that matter. Those aren't part of the brotherhood of gamers.
Think what you want, I just play games that I enjoy playing and don't like to title myself or put myself into pre-defined categories.

I was joking anyway
(about the "real gamers" stuff; the part about invading New Zealand was serious, I need to look into how to make this project a reality).
I miss his old threads where he hardened the *** up after , wiping out his cookies , history what not using software's and blamed steam for forcing him to login again and again.

Breja: I'm so glad you made TWO threads about this. How about one more for good luck?
The first was quarantined

I figured GOG's auto-cager wouldn't stop a query about
it's current big name title.

Seriously, man

I ask a simple question about rather or not the trainer (there's apparently only one developer) is saving permanent edits to my game files and people start sounding off about trainers like it was my first day at Highschool again but I brought a gun.

If the trainer is so dirty why don't people make 'clean' ones? They made an editor for No Man's Sky...

And then, while on the topic of a fragile new world, I realized how the bloody world around me has transformed into a bunch of fluffy and frightened puff balls over the past fifteen years.

I don't play online; just using the trainer on and off so I don't have keep repeating segments over and over in a game that is already eighty hours long - I've got a job.

Germany before ww1 used to have many colonies in the pacific near New Zealand such as German Samoa and German New Guinea.

I believe Telika was referring to the "no true scotsman" argument.
Cheaters and Hacks, My two cents. I think cheaters spoil the game having met them more than a few times in various games. If your losing on skill level alone (eg. FPS) thats one thing, deal with it ,practice the F++k up and get better.
But on the other hand if the cheater\hack can see through walls, shoot around corners, doesnt die despite point blank shots, can find you anywhere on the map, etc etc. Sure as hell takes the fun out of the game for the REAL GAMER!

I know, we need to get them back!
