Pentiment a new game from obsidian would be a good fit here so let’s hope obsidian keeps releasing games on gog

As I wrote in the comments section of the wishlist entry it certainly would make for a good double feature with Inkulinati, should both release at around the same time.

Or Joe Richardson's Monty Python-esque pieced-together-from-Renaissance-paintings point-and-clickers (Four Last Things, The Procession to Calvary and the upcoming Death of the Reprobate), if GoG finally came around getting them on board.
Pentiment looks really intriguing. I see lots of potential, it really depends on how much they put into it.

Do days progress and matter how much time you use? Are there different story directions you can go from meaningful decisions? This kind of thing is very difficult and we shall see if they can pull it off.
Funny, it looked like that was the worst recieved game of the Xbox stream. The chat was constantly complaining that only boring games were shown as well. At this point I have no idea what people expect from AAA gaming.

It's not a real RPG without combat. I don't care what anyone says, RPGs are about killing monsters, looting and levelling up.

Sawyer has delusions of grandeur and thinks he's some kind of auteur.

To me RPG is about role-playing, thus many combat free "adventure games" are RPG

Cosmando, Disco Elyisum doesn't have much combat in it at all. Would you say it isn't "RPG"?

1-Nonsense. The fact role playing games very often have combat is absolutely insignificant, as long as there's the "role" there is the RPG. Or is, say, Call of Cthulhu (pnp) not a RPG because combat is often omitted entirely?

2-On this I agree. :P

Exception that proves the rule. Also I'm talking about RPG video games, no PnP.

We should define a genre by what it actually is, not by semantic fixed definitions. If you look at every RPG video game ever made, like 99.99% of them are combat-based.
