For any fans of Sorcery!, 80 Days or Heaven's Vault, Inkle Studios have announced their next game, scheduled for Summer this year: Pendragon, a King-Arthur based narrative strategy game with turn-based tactical combat and "infinite replayability". https://www.inklestudios.com/pendragon/

Getting Heaven's Vault onto GOG was a struggle (GOG rejected it, then later changed their minds) so please vote on the wishlist entry and spread the word!

Hahaha what. I'm a huge fan of Sorcery! (own the red-foil spellbook and everything), but wow this sounds bad. "Tactical combat" is going to murder replayability. It's much, much slower than the decision-making expected of Inkle. Either they're cognizant of it and are actually making a Banner Saga clone, or they're creating content no one'll bother to see because the price of it is trudging through hours and hours of samey shit. Battles slower than what's in Sorcery! or King of Dragon Pass have no place in a choice-based game. Swindlestones was honestly pushing it.
Big Inkle fan here :) Great news!

I hope GOG learned from last time. I also hope we get the Sorcery games here at some point. They are pretty neat.
I don't know anything about their other games, but turn based combat and arthurian legends? Sign me up.
Thanks for the heads up - this sounds pretty cool.

I knew I was going to pick up Heaven's Vault at some point - might have to do it sooner than later to encourage GoG and the devs to release this here too.

That Sorcery game on their page looks pretty neat too - how come that isn't here (80 Days and HV are).

servobeupstry: The Sorcery! series uses cloud saves, which maybe counts as "DRM" in GOG's world?
GOG already has cloud saves on half their catalogue.

Ah gotcha that makes sense. If that's the only mechanism for saving I can see why (I know I'm not about to make an account to save a game). Hopefully if some of their other stuff does well they'll release it here with a local save option.

The game doesn't require any account to play and it also saves locally.
