Thank you both for the explanation!

(I've actually started learning Russian properly this autumn, and any time the professor wants to instill some humility in a student he offers a MOBA-related post for translation. There's far more to it than "cyka blyat", it's like a whole new secret language. Fascinating, even though I suck at it like a vacuum.)

It is interesting how many foreign words one really learns by just playing e.g. Team Fortress 2! Well, "learn" is a strong word as I don't really know what the words mean and even what language they are. Words like:

EDIT: I decided to remove the words, Google translate revealed them all to be swear words, except "magyar" which apparently just means "Hungary", in Hungarian?

And then they say one doesn't learn anything from video games?

EDIT: Ummm, ok. Going to gog.com with Firefox now gives me French, so this is not really a "Russian problem" then. It seems GOG draws a new language every day now.

Odd, for all the years I've used Firefox to connect to GOG.com, I've never seen this behavior before.

Oh well, learning a new language every day can't be a bad thing, can it?
