As a big fan of the TV series I was excited to read about this! Curve Digital said it will be a "narrative action" game, whatever that means, and will be released in 2020.
This series really has it all: well-built characters, great dramatic plot and perfect atmosphere. I hope they don't ruin this. So, anyone hyped?

I tried to watch this show. I couldn't get passed the first 15 minutes of the first episode. It just didn't capture my interest at all. Maybe I should give it another shot. There's lots of shows that had terrible first seasons and then turned out great... it's probably not fair to judge it on 15 minutes.

The show is incredible. I just don't see it translating to a game very well unless it has heavy business management sim features like other similarly themed games on the market and action side quests to free new territory or bloody a rival gang's nose.

That's exactly what I did with Game of Thrones. I watched almost 20 minutes of the 1st episode, got extremely bored, turned it off. Then, everyone reacted like "Aaaaaah what were you thinking blasphemerrrrrrr!!!!". Honestly, this kind of reaction has the opposite effect on me so I've never actually watched the show. I guess I might give it a try after all the craziness worldwide has calmed down (read: when the series ends).
Anyway, you really should watch Peaky Blinders when you have the time. It is one of the very rare TV series that captures you with great drama and impressive character build-up.
