That was posted September 8th. I made my purchase September 10th. So Not really sure what you're talking about?

Also, people have had this problem with things other then just paypal. and my credit card was charged. So while it may be paypal's fault, it doesn't change the fact that my credit card has been hit and I am currently gameless.... Also, again, Whether it's Gog's fault or paypal, all I would really like is some sort of response from GOG. That's really all I'm after here. The silence on there part is uncomfortable.

I think there is a context. Or not? Other people have the same problem as you to the same time. In my opinion it is no coincidence so I think the problem is still to find at paypal.
Also on GOG Galaxy 1.1.15, bought a game on Friday thru it, PayPal payment processed game not added. Contacted GOG support no answer yet.
It does seem like this might be a Paypal problem, but people are having problems with PaysafeCard also. It could be a complete coincidence of 2 separate problems occurring simultaneously perhaps, or a common middle-layer at GOG's payment processor, or some kind of problem on GOG's end that coincides with problems Paypal is having also.

Another thing too is that not only is this problem going to affect and potentially upset folks that are hitting up against it, but it's not good for GOG either whether it is an external problem or internal - it's going to cost them some lost sales and potentially lost customers which sucks really.

Hope it gets sorted out quick though so everyone can finally get their games though.

I'm not going to stop using GoG but after this I'd rather go through Steam, Origin, or whatever system that I've never had a problem with first before using GoG. I really don't want to go through this again.

You are a regular in the forums as am I, so I know you most likely see a large number of my posts as well. Therefore you know that while I am a satisfied GOG customer I do not hesitate to point out any flaws in their service often in great detail, nor to repeatedly bring such flaws up regularly where warranted in order to make it known and to encourage the problems to get fixed. I do the same in the public Mantis bug tracking database, and on the GOG GALAXY BETA thread and countless other places.

I think my public communication record shows clearly that despite being a satisfied GOG customer I also clearly communicate the bad with the good and do so in an unbiased fashion speaking the truth of my experiences on both sides of the spectrum. Anyone who reads my posts frequently I believe including yourself surely would attest to that.

If someone hasn't paid that close attention to my posts and needs a sample of both sides of the coin simply visit the GOG GALAXY BETA thread and the "What did just break" thread, as well as the "What did just update" thread as 3 prime examples where I regularly post both the bad along with the good quite openly. Search for my nick and read every post. That should show beyond any reasonable doubt that I speak without bias exactly what I feel about every experience I have good or bad.

I'll let my public record stand for itself, as it's all out there in the open.

Nonsense, there are several threads with similar problems occurring for people both using paypal and paysafecard that I've seen today and commented on. I've spoken up to try to help people who are having these problems and directly wrote to GOG insiders to hopefully get them to fast track something to support for everyone who might be experiencing problems as I want to see people have good experiences here because I actually give a flying fuck about other people, even people I may not always agree with.

You can mudsling and drop name calling at me if you want to, but it means nothing to me. Furthermore, nobody in our good community here whose opinions matter to me in these forums are going to put any value on your hostility.

I care about one thing - trying to step up to the plate and help people in the community experiencing problems like this when I see it happen if I think I might be able to do so, including yourself if it is happening to you too. I'd like everyone ultimately to have the same great experiences that I've had on GOG and if someone isn't well then that bothers me.

Yep got my game as well. Unfortunate experience but at least it's done now.
Glad to see that it looks like the problems are being resolved for most folks if not everyone. Hope you all enjoy your games! That's what it's all about in the end! :)
