While GOG will not decline pre-paid cards, GOG is stationed in Europe, and the banking is done through Cyprus. Check if the pre-paid card provider allows overseas charges with it. Most such issues seem to be with US banks, but you may want to double check before getting a pre-paid one.

Discover is a common type of credit card used over here. It should have occurred to me that it might not be a common card in the rest of the world, but brains were never my strong suit. ;P

As a matter of fact, Wikipedia tells me that Discover is not accepted as payment pretty much anywhere but the US and Mexico. You can only use it to get cash from ATMs...
