eiii: A few more screenshots and a hint: The game has a mode with a grappling hook, as shown in the last screenshot. That mode makes the game quite fast and a somewhat special FPS game. Unfortunately it's quite hard to pause the game to make a screenshot while using the hook. And it's an open source game, as you already may have guessed. :)

Well, one looks like an RPG, the other a tower defense, I've never played either though.

Yes, one is a tower defense game, but the other is more like a DotA.

Well after some digging, i'm pretty certain the 2nd one is Ancient Planet Tower Defense.
