What you actually mean rather than:
"Paramount ends geoblocking tactics after EU antitrust breach warning"
Is
"Paramount temporarily suspends its plans to geoblock after EU antitrust breach warning"
As you can guarantee that after a few tweaks and legalese, they will get what they want, always do. The Gollum complex is strong with the Film and Music industry.

The EU is actually quite keen on completely removing geoblocking for non-censorship reason within the EU. Even if Paramount tries to force it, EU will eventually hit back.

Wish i could edit the title. They will always find a loophole somewhere in these laws like Here But at least they are trying.

I don't think the EU has this kind of prerogative. It seems to be more a of a thing for the Council of Europe, which handle human rights and democracy, and whose members include Russia, Azerbaijan and Turkey..
