Here's one of mine: I sometimes hear footsteps coming from the top floor of the house. I live alone and I'm not the only one who's heard them. It sounds like someone is pacing back and forth through the hallway, sometimes coming down the stairs.

Sorry, I'll try to be more silent next time. BTW, where do you store your gardening stuff?

And what is "paanormal"?

Spelling mistake. Ban me.
And it's dispersed throughout the property.

I got a lot more creepy stuff that happens around here (I'm on mobile so i can't reply all that well)
Five years ago my uncle disappeared from the property without a trace.
Recently I've heard what sounds like someone tapping on the closest open window to me.
And about a year ago I kept finding dead raccoons and dead opossums in the same area for a week.

Wow, I'm sort of impressed right now... :O

But, you live alone in such an eerie place and sleep with the windows open and all sorts of cutting instruments scattered around??
I've told this before, but a year or two ago when I visited Burger King, the receipt had a five-digit door code to the restaurant toilet (so that only customers can use the toilet).

That code was exactly the same as our apartment house's security code, to keep drifters and peddlers away from the house. And no it is not a simple one like 12345 or such.

The only explanation I could think of was that UFOs had invaded Earth and changed all the security codes to the same with their brainwaves, in order to have an easy access to restaurant toilets. Hey, aliens need to poop too from time to time! In the process they accidentally also changed all door codes to the same, and our memories of what those codes are.

Yeah, I never understood why such cutting instruments need to be hanging from the ceiling with cords, flailing around in the wind? And why do they have old blood on them, don't people ever wash them?

And sometimes with the door unlocked. The tools are in buildings, and it's not anything you can't get from a local store. Although a long time ago there used to be a few guns in one of the buildings. Not locked, just propped up against the door frame. (They've since been properly taken care of don't worry)
Last night a cabinet door opened itself next to me. This isn't the worst.
The only slightly paranormal thing in my house may be the cat. It's always in front of you even if you've just seen him going the opposite direction or in a different room.

SCP Foundation - some fuel for your imagination or paranoia. ;)

Edit: BTW, if you PM a blue, I'm pretty sure they'll fix the title for you.

Now you have me worried. Could you tell me what the code is, just in it matches my bike lock, maybe I should change it. ;)
I'm scared just reading about it. This Thread will not be mine favorite.:s
The damn magpies. They keep screeching outside in the very early morning for some unknown reason and always wake me up. The sound is extremely annoying. I had to start closing the window during the night because of that so I could get a decent sleep. It started somewhat recently. This year I think.
I once had a fart follow me around my house. I'm serious!
Does that count as paranormal?

It almost looks like you are living in a horror movie.
Let me guess... There is a room in your basement that is always locked and you are a cheerleader.

As for my personal experiences, almost nothing. I don't believe in most supernatural things . I like visiting catacombs, ancient ruins, abandoned eerie houses and places, even in stormy days or at night (I like the ambient), but never saw any ghost or had any similar experience. My mind must be too lazy to play tricks on me...
I even participated in a Ouija many years ago. Boring experience until *cough* someone *cough* started manipulating the thing. Quite an easy thing to do, just apply a slight, almost unnoticeable, pressure in some direction, and the rest of the participants will instantly move the planchette over there.

When I was very young, I used to see a man walk into my parents room and I would follow him. I would enter the room and witness him killing my father with a knife. Apparently my description of the guy matched the description of someone who was murdered in the house years prior. At least this was what my mom told me - I fortunately have no memory of the incident.

More recently - my old apartment in San Diego seemed to be haunted. I was taking a shower and I saw a shadow of someone moving past the shadow curtain. I thought it was my girlfriend of the time. She had left for work earlier and I thought she came home early. I called out for her but received no response. I got out of the shower and peeked into the living room which was entirely dark. I wrote it off as just seeing things. A couple months later my girlfriend was freaking out about something on her phone. On it was a picture neither of us had taken. It was a picture of that same bathroom. The picture was of an orange mist - it seemed to form the shape of a grinning face. There were a few more incidents after that. We soon moved out of that place and I haven't encountered much paranormal since - good luck to whoever moved into that place.
