We’ve recently finished celebrating the fifth anniversary of the cult game from CD PROJEKT RED and yet here’s another good reason to be a fan of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. If you already own the game on any PC or console platform, you can claim the GOG.COM copy for free with GOG GALAXY 2.0.

GOG GALAXY 2.0 is an application that allows gamers to connect external platforms to bring all their games and friends together in one place. This way you can manage and organize all your PC and console games in one library, launch any PC game, keep track of your progress and see your friends’ status, achievements, and game time across all gaming platforms.

Starting from today, if you connect the platform where you own The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with GOG GALAXY 2.0 (we recommend versions 2.0.16.182 for Windows and 2.0.16.195 for macOS), you will receive a GOG.COM copy for free. The game will show up in your games library inside the application. GOG GALAXY 2.0 will also import the game progress you’ve already made in The Witcher 3, like achievements and game time.

The option to claim the game will be available within the app for 1 week, till June 23rd at 11 AM UTC. You can download GOG GALAXY 2.0 for Windows or macOS . Im not going to use a third party unsupported community integration to connect to steam. For security reasons im not using any community integrations because those thirdparty devs could put in anything there whenever they want and it would be auto distributed if your already connected. (And yes i know those integrations CURRENTLY are checked and clean BUT you never know what those devs will do in the future. THERE IS NO INDICATION THAT GOG CHECKS EACH ITEREATION/UPDATE OF THE COMMUNITY INTEGRATIONS BEFORE AUTODISTRIBUTING THEM).

The "terms of use" even extra exempt them from any responsibility if u use community intregrations so i dont see any reason to trust them at all.
Putting in my password and account names on third party stuff that GOG doesnt even want to take responsiblity on is just a BAD idea. Considering account security: ITS A TOTAL NO GO.
Any advise about account security would say to NOT input account names and password on unknown thirdparty programs.

So this is offer is not for me. They should have just used the old gog connect thing.

Ah, apparently the GOG beta I was on was not updating to the LATEST beta that let me do this. I had to install over the beta with a new install

Also: seems playstation integration is down

EDIT: Seems ALL integration is down

Thank you!
The PS4 expansion pass does not seem to be recognized. I was only able to claim the base game, but not either of the expansions individually or the expansion pass, despite owning them on PS4 and having expansion-related trophies.

(I also own the GOTY GOG version, so it's not so much an issue to me personally, but for others this bug could be a more serious issue)
Now they try to transfer people from Galaxy 1.2 to 2 - no way, I like 1.2 version so much!
Nice! I have TW3 on Steam. If I connect it to gog galaxy 2.0, I will win a gog.com copy... can I download it on PSN ? Or, at least, if - after linking - I buy an copy of TW3 on psn, will it get my Steam save linked on psn account ?
Something tells me Cyberpunk 2077 will require frequent updates through Galaxy.
Also having an issue. I own TW3 on Steam, and I've been using GOG Connect since it came out, but now when I install Galaxy 2.0, it gives me an error that data couldn't be downloaded, and I've clicked retry about a dozen times to no avail. I'm not finding TW3 in my library, either, and no option to claim or reconnect steam that I can find. :(
Can confirm owners of GOTY edition on Steam are only getting the base version on GOG. Attached proof from my Steam purchase history. Also downloaded the GOG version to make sure it really wasn't GOTY and indeed I don't have the expansions in game.

Pity if you you purchased the witcher 3 with the season pass on steam before the GOTY was announced/released, users on steam could never "upgrade" to the GOTY edition because you already own all the content.

And steam doesn't see you as owning the goty edition if you own all content, and neither does gog. Most publishers upgrade you to goty editions if you own all dlc.

Still nice of gog to give season pass owners the base game on gog for some drm free goodness
wuuuuu yo ya reclame el mio, lo tenia en playstation \\_:v_//
This sounds great to anyone who bought the game elsewhere but now that i buy all my games from GOG i already bought it here :) nothing beats DRM free and goodies.
A very nice idea. However, I have four copies across a variety of platforms (including GOG). This game was too great not to own...several times over ;-p

EDIT: for clarity
