Now on GOG!
What's that, GOG? The Planet Crafter had its full release (without updating anything other than the actual game files or getting some fancy-shmancy announcement), too? Yeah, I know, we get it. You're as incompetent as ever. *le sigh*
I need to start playing it again.

Bad day for you? Not being serious

It's possible the full build was delayed for GOG. So that could be anyone's fault right now,

Full release of Planet Crafter on Steam was only yesterday. Isn't it a bit early to throw such a tantrum?
As per usual, Steam got priority over other release platforms. Maybe GOG is preparing the release files as we speak / type?

Just frustrated by GOG's continued ineptitude. How hard is it for them to keep up on their game releases? It's not the first nor will it likely be the last time they've completely ignored an early access going 1.0.

And then they probably wonder why some devs can't be bothered with GOG anymore. There are just too many idiosyncrasies with this place. I want GOG to succeed because there's no real alternative, but at times they certainly make it really trying to be supportive of them.

This has happened before; also, as far as gogdb is telling me, the game is actually up-to-date. Case in point: when Infraspace went 1.0, there was no announcement, no launch discount, no updated game card (until like a month later), etc. There have been others in the past year, too, but I haven't kept track of all of them.

Hell, there have been other releases - newly added early access titles, full games, significant DLCs - that just popped up in the store in recent times without so much as a peep from GOG.

When something like this happens repeatedly that very much has the sign of incompetence. Either do all of the announcements or none of them. This half-assedness just comes across as very poor form.

In this version you have access to:

- Five emissaries with special abilities that allow you to win against different development strategies;

- Improved, more competitive AI: The AI will try to win over the player's tribes, ruin the player's reputation and fight with the player for supremacy.

- Improved edict system;

- Completely revamped random event system: The consequences of player decisions now have a much greater impact on the game;

- New combat units: Submarines and aircraft carriers;

- A new dangerous robot;

- Different options for diplomatic agreements;

- A map of Earth!

- A complete French and German localization has been added.
Back to the actual game, Revival Recolonization that is.

@GOG
Just letting you know: The game card uses animated graphics (gif.mp4). If the browser has media autoplay disabled then you'll only get some horribly blurred still images. See screenshot attached (taken from Firefox).

For some game cards, the animated images are broken completely because of a misconfiguration on GOG's side and Chrome attempts to fix it and Firefox not. I don't remember what it was, wrong MIME type?
