Space exploration & survival. Similar to No Man's Sky but on a smaller scale (one solar system) with greater detail and realism. Multiplayer, but this video shows the game also having a single player mode:

Lookin' good. Might need a supercomputer to play it tho... ;)

Coming to Steam in September. Don't know how the devs feel about DRM-free or how much they're relying on Steam for various features. They're a small team (video says two guys).

voted, looks pretty fun and cool, as long as it's not multiplayer focused I'll check it out
Looks like a pure NMS clone...

I'm enjoying No Man's Sky, but I think some would say it looks like "No Man's Sky done right". Multiplayer, base building, vehicles, greater degree of realism, much better graphics, first- and third-person views, character customization. No ships or vast universe tho. Similar, but different enough to be its own experience. Or so I imagine.

No I mean just how the game looks in that video, the inventory system, the bright color pallet of the terrain etc, it looks legitimately like they're trying to make it look just like NMS.

Yeah. I didn't buy it when he said they hadn't really looked at any other games. ;)

To coin a phrase of this current generation... it triggerd me... all i see is "No Man's Sky"

If this style of game is what your looking for, The Solus Project might be what you are seeking... No I'm not going to say this is garbage but its promises are a little "big" and I would love to play this with all the features they talked about but... NMS has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.. If they fully support the offline mode i could see this working here... the mulitplayer "mmo" part would be a first for GOG if it came...

that said they now support virtual item purchases, so anything is possible.

Seems like anyone seeing science-fiction and anymore more than two minutes of walking immediately compare it to NMS... you know, there are a few sci-fi games based on this premise of exploring large areas for resources and building - Eden Star, anyone? I'd say this is more like those than NMS. It also looks like a tonne of fun, hopefully it comes to GOG so I can insta-buy and give it a go.
So NMW vs Solus Project vs Osiris : New Dawn...
Looks like it has/will have some stuff that I really miss in NMS like 3rd person; character customization, upcoming female char AND the ability to give your char a name instead of trying to sell me the idea that its me and uses my gog forum name.

Thanks for sharing OP; I'll take a close look if it gets a gog release.
The game has a lot of potential. I would lie if I said it did not.
But for it's current state, it is VERY VERY buggy.
Considering this is still probably in pre-alpha phase, it is understandable.
I recommend waiting a little before buy that they at least fix the core game.

Anyhow, I made a short compilation video of all the bugs and funny moments I had in my 9 first hours of coop gamplay!
All this condensed into a 10 minute video.
After watching this, you will know if you want it, and want to WAIT for it to be fixed hehe.
Also. You will laugh... a lot!

All I care about is, does it crash? Do you have to recharge every little item in the entire game, like in a certain other ga.. Planet walking simulator?
