I am about to play Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition for the first time. I decided some time ago to get it on gog because of the DRM-free, but I just saw that it is the only version without achievements and cloud saves. Is there any chances that they decide to add it to the game before the second one comes out? It is really sad the way the game is being treated on gog.

Unfortunately many developers don't implement the achievements with the excuse that it requires too much work in relation to the gain of the GOG version.

The best thing to do is contact the developers personally via email or social media and ask them to add the achievements also to the GOG version, some have changed their minds and have added them when they saw that they are in high demand.

For Ori I found this email: feedback@moongamestudios.com

The only way you can get a time like that is if you know every nook and cranny and speedrun it. I'd put avg playtime between 8-10 for us normal people.

Also, How Long To Beat is your friend.

if what you say is true, i'd happily buy it but i've been let down in the past, little nightmares etc. so i'm going with my gut on this one but i hope i'm wrong, because this looks awesome.

It's not some "the devs are treating GOG bad" type of deal. Pretty sure this game released here before Galaxy (or before Galaxy really caught on), which like many games before that time it's lacking Galaxy features and once development has ended devs rarely go back to add stuff like this.

Cloud saves though are possible. GOG adds these themselves. It's possible support might be able to help with this if you request it.

That's not true.
